Get ready to take flight — we’re launching the first-ever Drone Soccer League in Florida, and YOU can be part of this exciting new program combining technology, teamwork, and competition!
This league is designed for high school students who want to learn real-world STEM skills while having a blast flying drones inside protective cages in a fast-paced, action-packed game of Drone Soccer.



⚙️ What Is Drone Soccer?
Drone Soccer is a team sport where players pilot drones inside netted arenas. Each team works together to protect their goal and score by flying a special “striker” drone through the opponent’s goal.
It’s fast, competitive, and teaches skills in:
- Drone flight and control
- Engineering and maintenance
- Coding and problem solving
- Communication and teamwork
You don’t need any prior experience — we’ll teach you everything you need to know to get airborne and game-ready!
🧑🚀 Who Can Join
- Students in 9th–12th grade
- From Polk, Hillsborough, and Orange Counties
- Teams of up to 10 students (minimum 4 teams total)
Whether you’re into STEM, aviation, or just love a good challenge, this is your chance to be part of something brand newin Florida!
🗓️ League Schedule
Season: September – November 2026
- Practice: One day per week at Aerospace Center for Excellence (ACE) in Lakeland, FL
- Tournament Play: One Saturday per month
Each tournament brings teams together to compete for points, build community, and advance their drone piloting and engineering skills.
