Middle School Aerospace Curriculum

Building a Brighter Future

Children as young as five years old begin to associate themselves with future career choices. Strong foundational skills in aerospace and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) should start early. For this very reason, the Aerospace Center for Excellence (ACE) has developed a curriculum exclusively designed for middle school students. While the “Aerospace Technology – Year Two” course is still under development, the “Introduction to Technology – Year One” course will undergo a Beta Test during its first year.

The 2023-2042 Boeing Pilot and Technician Outline shows a global need for 649,000 new pilots, 690,000 new maintenance technicians, and 938,000 new cabin crew members in order to fly and maintain the global commercial fleet over the next 20 years. Why should this matter to you? Because that future innovator in the aerospace industry could be a student at your school. Through your teaching you can inspire the next generation of aerospace professionals.
