General Information
Bring your K-12 students to the Aerospace Center for Excellence for an engaging experiential enrichment opportunity! A field trip to the Aerospace Center for Excellence includes 3 immersive educational programs designed for your students’ grade level. Field trips may begin as early as 9:30 am and last up to 2 ½ hours. Free exploration of the Florida Air Museum is permitted afterwards until the museum closes at 4:00 pm.

Additional Information
Registration & Payment
- Four weeks’ notice is required to reserve a Field Trip.
- Payment is due at the time your reservation is made through our online booking system.
- Your reservation is not confirmed until you have made your payment.
- You will receive a receipt with your confirmation number via email. Please be sure to check your spam folder if you don’t receive this email.
Student & Adult Count
- The maximum number of students we can accommodate on any given day is 60. Students will be split into 3 squadrons of 15 – 20 students which are designated Alpha, Bravo, & Charlie squadrons.
- One paid chaperone per 15 students is required.
Field Trip Times
- Each field trip program lasts 45 minutes.
- Schools may begin their experience as early as 9:30 am. However, 10:00 am is the typical start time.
- All squadrons will rotate through each field trip program.
- Program length may be reduced in the case of late arrival and/or early departure.
Lunch/Snack Options
- Schools have the option to include time for a 30-minute lunch or a 15-minute snack break at the conclusion of the field trip programs. Due to the construction on the Aerospace Pavilion, we recommend you eat lunch when you return to your school.
- Food is not available for purchase at our site, except for vending machines.
- Groups may bring their own food and eat outdoors at Henderson Plaza.
- Seating is based on a first come, first served basis. Henderson Plaza is a covered picnic table-style space that seats 48.
- Coolers will be stored on the bus, which will be parked near Henderson Plaza.
Cancellations & Refunds
- All cancellations made three weeks or more from the scheduled Field Trip date will receive a refund of collected monies.
- Cancellations made less than three weeks prior to the Field Trip date will forfeit their refund or have the option to reschedule based upon availability of Field Trip dates.
- The Aerospace Center for Excellence cannot be held responsible for missed field trips as a result of extenuating circumstances such as transportation, weather, nor any other reason outside of the control of Aerospace Center for Excellence, nor for expenses related to scheduled reservations.
