Aerospace Center for Excellence Celebrates Staff Graduations

Graduation season is here and the Aerospace Center for Excellence is proud to recognize four staff members who will earn a new credential. Congratulations Cathy Dal Colletto, Tristin Petrosky, Nicolas Barrios, and Anthony Zito!

Cathy Dal Colletto serves as the Digital Marketing Coordinator at ACE, operating the SUN ‘n FUN, Aerospace Center for Excellence, and Florida Air Museum social media accounts. She also maintains the website for the three companies, along with coordinating marketing tasks. This semester, she will be graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Administration from Polk State College’s Aerospace Program. Cathy’s professional aviation experience began in Airport Operations and Part 135 Dispatching. She is also a Central Florida Aerospace Academy graduate and a James C. Ray Flight Training Scholarship Alumna. She obtained her Private Pilot Certificate in 2016.

Tristin Petrosky is a Program Assistant at ACE, supporting the Education Department through field trips, the after-school program, summer camps, and other events held throughout the year. He began working at ACE in January. Tristin graduated cum laude from Polk State College with a dual degree: an Associate in Arts in Liberal Arts and an Associate in Science in Aerospace Administration. His goals for the future include completing his bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Science-Flight from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and then becoming a commercial pilot.

Nicolas Barrios is also a Program Assistant at ACE and has worked in the position for a year and a half; he will be graduating from Central Florida Aerospace Academy. Nicolas will be attending the University of Florida in the fall where he will study Aerospace Engineering. His long-term goals include working in the civil sector of aviation to bring supersonic flight back to commercial airlines.

Anthony Zito has served as a Program Assistant at ACE since September 2023. He will be graduating from  Central Florida Aerospace Academy, while having earned his Associate in Arts in  Liberal Arts through dual enrollment. After graduation, Anthony will continue his education by attending the University of Central Florida in Orlando for Aerospace Administration. His goals include becoming an Aerospace Engineer in aerodynamic research or defense.

ACE is proud of the staff for accomplishing these educational goals in pursuit of a career in the aviation industry. We wish Cathy, Tristin, Nicolas, and Anthony the best of luck in their endeavors!
