Aerospace Camp Leadership Program
The Aerospace Center for Excellence is looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and aviation focused student leaders to join our summer camp team in a volunteer capacity. Leadership program participants will assist ACE Summer Camp staff in creating an unforgettable aerospace camp experience that inspires young learners through aviation and STEM.
As a summer camp team member, you will learn how to work with and lead others, guide students through activities, assist with hands-on projects, and support camp operations, all while being a role model for the campers as they explore the world of aerospace.

Eligibility requirements:
- Be 16-18 years of age
- Completed 10th grade
- Submit a complete application package
- Available Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:15 pm during at least one week of summer camp.
All applicants must submit the following:
- Application, including essay questions.
- One letter of recommendation from a teacher, school administrator, or other supervisory professional. Letters should be no more than one page and cannot be from family members. Letters must be submitted by the recommender directly to April Blaze at [email protected].
- Resume- Include school studies, work or volunteer history, any educational awards, and/or extracurricular activities.
Applicants who successfully complete the requirements and move on to the next qualifying round will be asked to schedule an interview with the scholarship review committee. Applicants who do not successfully complete the requirements are encouraged to re-apply during the next submission window.
Submission Window: November 7, 2026 – February 26, 2027
Interview Selection Notices: No later than March 5, 2027
Interview Windows: March 8 – March 12; April 19 – April 26, 2027
Acceptance Notices: May 3 – May 7
Training: June 9, 2027, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
